Gonna jump in the fray here:
It's THE tobacco frag. It smells like raw golden Virginia Blond tobacco. I used to live in London (Westminster) and walk just a few blocks down Charring Cross Rd. to a tobacconist to buy Three Castles from a gallon-sized bell jar. SMN Aqua di Cuba smells JUST like it with a bit of honey added. AdC smells like good, plain, unadulterated tobacco, golden, hay-like, pastoral. It's the only "natural" tobacco smelling fragrance I've ever come across. Ever.

    Cuiron
    by Helmut Lang

This stuff is cult classic legend. It actually doesn't smell like leather at all. Not in my opinion, not compared to other leather frags, but is an amazing frag nonetheless. It opens with a touch of citrus, a touch of woods, and touch of fruit, but it does turn a bit "leathery." It never evokes leather the way Tuscan Leather, Cuir Ottoman, Boxeuses, or many other leather frags do, but it's so satisfying all the same. I recently acquired a small decant in a swap and I'm so glad I did. I used to have a bottle but sold it for $60. They are going for upwards of $500 these days. Sigh. Let me say that again, SIGH. Not because I could have made money on it but because I'd really like to have that bottle back and it's going to cost me dearly. Is it worth it? yes. Cuiron is manly, classy, and perpetual.

    Default Hermes Rocabar

Very woodsy, slightly spicy and herbal. I don't notice the lavender, but all the woods, nutmeg and cinnamon come through from the beginning.
