Van Cleef and Arpels Pour Homme

Slumberhouse "Jeke"--This is really good. Resinous, which seems to be a Slumberhouse house accord, tobacco, burning wood, leather. Funky manly smells. Outdoorsy. Reminds me of Tauer "Lonestar Memories," one of my very favorite scents, but without the birch tar. Like LSM it does not so much smell like all of these things as to somehow suggest them. I may have over applied this one! I am guessing it projects!

I like Slumberhouse Jeke, but it doesn't seem to last on my skin.

Accords: Herbal, Floral, Woody, Vanilla, Soft Spicy, Fresh Spicy
Notes: Lemon, Thyme, Sage, Rose, Musk, Ylang ylang, Vanilla, Oak

I am definitely getting vanilla throughout and vanilla is the prominent note. Very gourmand like New Haarlem, but much lighter and after 3 hours it has become a skin scent. I don't care for vanilla in a frag unless it plays a silent role so I am not liking this frag at all.
