Brushless shaving creams are like a blade-less razor. I agree, not for me.

Pretty much all shaving creams are brushless.

    Sucks to be you.

    +1...though I do occasionally like them as a pre-shave.

If I could only keep one part of classical wet shaving, it would be the brush. Yup...even with canned gel I would use one now

All shaving creams are meant to be used brushless.

The relatively limited number of ones that can also be successfully lathered with a brush is a very small subset.

I think they can be useful when you don't have a brush or are in a hurry. I agree though, no brush is no fun.

Are you sure that didn't come out backwards? It seems to me that just about all the creams can be (and most are) lathered with a brush by people here. Are you saying we are mistaken about our "successful" lathers?

Brushless/latherless creams taught me that brushes and lather are not necessary for a high quality shave.

I have cleaner hands when I use a brush, but I get a great shave either way.

Actually, most creams you can buy are made to put on your face by hand and shaved like that.
There are some that CAN be lathered with a brush, but they're a relatively small portion of the market.
Most brushless creams just get smeared around and don't do anything if you try to lather them.

I've actually used a couple of Latherless Creams that have been outstanding and they are in my Arsenal of Shaving Software. I know many Shavers that cringe at the thought of using a latherless but as they say YMMV. I like those that lather as well as the couple that don't, for me the importance of a close comfortable shave that leaves my face moisturized is most important, the vehicle driven to that destination is secondary.

Market share is not the same as most creams. I suppose I missed your joke the first time around.
