Well Xmas and the holidays (for most of us) are over and I'm sure most of us asked for shave gear/colognes/body care. Go ahead brag about what you got!Only asked for one thing shave wise and got it:-Jack Black Core Collection: Pretty nice, comes with the 2 6oz tubes of Beard Lube, Pure Clean Daily Facial Cleanser and a 3.5oz tube of Double Duty face moisterizer. My GF ordered it direct from Jack Black and it came with a ton of samples a nice draw bag and a beer couzy. Pretty cool!

Maca Root shave cream (from Mrs Santa), and it makes a great superlather with Palmolive shave soap. The scents complement each other nicely, too. I get a lilac scent, and with the added "green" scent from Palmolive, it smells like Easter (hyacinth?) to me.

My Dad gave me his Old Spice mug (Ships Grant Turk and Salem, not sure if that means anything), probably from the 70's. Also got some Christmas money, so some soaps/croaps are on order from Queen Charlotte Soaps - one of them is the Old Spice type shave soap to go with the mug.

WOW! Love the cabinet btw

My inlaws wanted to do all their shopping online this year because they can't get around like they used too and asked every one for links for them to choose from. I thought they would get me maybe one soap but they ordered almost my whole list! Then on top of that my mother in law gave me her father's Gillette Ball Tech.

I can't find a code on the Gillette. It needs some cleaning but I thought it was very cool that she passed it on to me.

my wife gave me a Slim and a Tech that she found at a flea market. Also a EverReady 100T black/white handle.

And non-shaving related from a vintage shop, goaded by my 9 yo daughter, she bought this 2' statue of a Bali dancer:

I'm new to DE shaving, and to B&B. I've been talking about it for 6 months and for Christmas my wife just gave me everything I needed to get started.

Merkur 38C barber pole razor (I have large hands so I love the weight and handle length)
Vulfix 660S super badger brush
Edwin Jagger shaving mug & soap

Then my bro-in-law got in on it and gave me some Tabac soap (his favorite) and a 6-variety sample pack of blades.

I've supplemented that with some Nivea shaving balm and a bar of some odd shaving soap I happened to find on clearance at some boutique store yesterday.

Three shaves into it and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
