Wool Scarves = Black bowties. Grrrr....

seems everyone's got an acrylic fetish this year; it's been nigh impossible to find a decent wool scarf anywhere but dedicated menswear shops, and all those are woven. not that woven is bad, but i've had my heart set on a knitted wool scarf. not really looking for a source this time; i just needed to complain.

anyone else had this issue? not necessarily scarves or bowties but something you'd think would be simple to find but when it comes to it you end up pulling your hair out?

A lot of 'old world' items are getting harder and harder to find these days. You normally have to go to a speciality store or spend a huge amount of money to get it which really annoys me.

I remember I was trying to find just a nice simple WOODEN breadbox a few years ago. Took me forever to find one and when I did it would always be thin metal or some such thing. Finally found one and then a year or two later I saw wooden ones everywhere. Now they have vanished again.. that is how things are.

Things are both convinient and very much NOT convinient these days. Kind of annoying...
