Results: After a "No Shave" day yesterday on X-mas day, today's was nothing short of fabulous, especially with this smooth operator from my collection. This monster C-Mon is an unbelievable shaver. She takes (and keeps) on a beautiful edge. Despite her size, she's a very gentle giant. The D.R. Harris Lavender provided an incredibly moist and luxurious lather. And the prep? Simply divine ; there's nothing more satisfying that applying a warm lather to a face that is still sweating from the hot shower. The foreplay paid off with the C-Mon delivering a home run shave . What an incredible feeling .

Got this straight from my father as a Christmas present, old German straight made for an Norwegian ship company around 1910-20. It was in quite bad shape, but some Autosol and steel wool helped. It still looks quite bad, but I'll take care of the finish later. But it shaved great for sure!
