What am i looking at

Hey, Im new to the razor collecting scene.
This might be my first purchase since receiving my first as a gift. It was a family heirloom but iv used it and become hooked.

This is advertised as a fatboy, but from what i can tell, is not. The box made me concerned then closer inspection of the razor makes me think the seller is completely in the dark.
Well, what is it they have and if not worth the one hundred or so dollars (US) they are asking, is it worth making them some type of offer??

It appears to be a Gillette Slim. Often confused with the Fatboy. For 100 clams, I'd say no, because they can often be found for much cheaper. I got mine at an antique store for 15 dollars. It shaves excellently, though!

I believe that is a slim. Fatboys, based on looking at the one I own, have a small gap between the adjustment knob and the handle. In that gap is a thin black ring.

No real question. Slim. Got mine in superb condition for fifteen bucks from a guy on craigslist. It's a fine razor.
