Default FS: Feather AC SS Japanese Style / Lavanda cream

    SOLD!

For sale is a Feather Artist Club SS Japanese style (non-folding) razor and a variety of blades. I used the razor twice, so it's in as new condition. Like the DX, this razor is all stainless steel. Included are opened packs of Feather Pro Guard and Feather Pro blades, as well as packs of Feather Light and KAI Mild blades. I used one each of the Feather Light and KAI Mild, so there are a total of 75 blades, a great chance to try a variety.

Total cost for me for this set was $185, and I would like to sell it for $160 shipped in the CONUS. Willing to ship internationally at additional charge.

For an additional $5 I will include two tubes of Lavanda cream. This is the older version. One tube is unopened and the other is 95% full by weight.

PM me with any questions or for additional pictures. Thanks.

I'm just curious, why the sale on the razor? I have the same one and I find it excellent.

Anyone who wants into straights without the maintenance this is probably one of the best buys out there. It is an awesome shaver with those Kai blades!

    Good luck with the sale!

I've never used straights before and just didn't really like how it felt and don't have the patience now to learn the technique. Prefer my Feather All-Stainless DE.

I see it says you only used it twice, by the time I had shaved with it 6 times I was really getting the hang of it, a much closer shave than the DE's

Yes, I've used it twice, once with the Feather Light and once with the KAI Mild. I'm certainly not blaming the razor by any stretch, just not really something for me at this point. I kept it around for a while and wasn't really tempted to experiment further.

I'd PM Telly (TstebinsB). He'll probably be able to hook you up with better pricing than most places.

@Aaron622...where did you buy this razor from? I'd like to get one of those.

Today is a day that will live in infamy for me. I entered the world of straight shaving. After studying the B&B website and other areas I decided to purchase a straight razor. After much consideration I chose the Feather Artist Club SS. I found it at Traditional Shaving of Ireland. Even though I purchased it in mid-Dec it just arrived a few days ago due to the Christmas package crush and the inability of customs to move parcels through their facility, but enough about that. The point is I got it and here's how the first shave went down.

I showered and used a good face scrub to make sure my whiskers would be standing up and my skin would be super clean. My prep continued in front of the sink while I used Clinique face soap to further clean my face. I applied multiple hot towels to my face all while I put hot water, heated to boiling and then left to cool while I showered, in my Little Bird shaving scuttle. I applied a coat of Pacific Shaving Oil to my skin and then using my super badger brush whipped up some Wool Fat Soap lather. I applied the lather to my face and grasped my new razor and with slight trepidation I began to shave the right side of my face. Short strokes looking for blood...and "hooray" nothing seen. It felt very natural and I commenced to smoothly stroke my face. By the time I got to the left side the lather had dried so I had to whip up some more. Overall I am very pleased. I had a few spots that weren't as smooth as I get with my DE but I think eventually I will be doing fine. I did this whole operation without a single nick. That's about it.

In conclusion I would like to just say thanks to B&B for having this forum, because I probably would have never attempted straight shaving without it. I think I picked up enough knowledge so that my learning curve wasn't so steep. Now all I have to do is keep practicing. My day of infamy has been spectacular.
