RazoRock is actually considered a soap, an Italian soap to be more precise. I haven't used Proraso but I have used Cella and RazoRock XXX and I think their performances are quite good and similar. I haven't tried the RazoRock Artisan line yet.
I've tried Caprician Lemon, XXX, and Fresco and they are amazing both in scent and performance. PM me and I'll get you a sample of Fresco and XXX in the mail.
I just posted a very similar thread in the soap forum a while ago!
Oh wow it's a soap I sure thought it was a cream by the looks of it thanks !. Maybe this needs to be moved to the soap section

I love the consistency of the artisan series. It comes in a cube- you can pop the entire cube out of the rather chintzy container. All you have to do is press it like putty into whatever container you choose, including the original.
Although it's softer than the long lasting Cella, it generates lather so quickly it may ultimately last just as long. I'll let you know next year.

Ouch, did you know the container is actually its own lathering bowl? That still blows my mind.
I have the Artisan Caprician lemon and find its like shaving with Cella soaked in Sprite or 7up. Cool scent. I have Mughet de France and XXX on the way.

I received XXX as a gift from a member in this forum not too long ago and it's one of my favorite shaving soap. I'm glad I tried it.
I like both their tallow based "Artisan Shave Soap" and their "Shaving Cream Soap" vegetable formulations using palm and coconut oils . They're quite different but both good performing & great values. Some of the names are too cleaver by half, as consumers would be benefited by names that all reflected the scents of each product. Their website is pitiful in detailing any real information about the products so we're fortunate that several B&B vendors do a great job.

For years, I've taken to reusing empty tubs of cream for their respective soaps. It's nifty having AoS sandalwood soap in an AoS sandalwood cream container, Harris in Harris, Trumper in Trumper, etc.
Most of the big name producers use a similar PVC tub, but the Razorock tub is really cheap and flimsy. I don't mind, as it seems all of the money goes into the soap- it's an outstanding performer.

Absolutely right about the tub. Joe uses 'em to keep the price down.
Which I appreciate.

My RazoRock Cacao, purchased from Joe at Italian Barber arrived this morning! It is my first try at the RazoRock line. I really like the smell and consistency of the soap/cream. It lathered up real well, and provided a smooth cushion for my 2011 R41. Very happy with the RazoRock!! I will have to try the XXX next!
I was told that the Boston tea party is the same exact thing as proraso white is this true ?
