I've heard a few people complain that they received dried out or otherwise questionable tubs from CC. This is not meant as a knock on CC- I purchased 100 Feather blades from them and was very pleased.

At this point, I, for one, would not purchase Taylor creams (which I love) by mail. I get them at Pasteur's, where I, rather shamelessly, open each tub until I find a keeper. Similar quality control and/or storage issues cause me to do the same for Coates. This shouldn't have to be a crap shoot.

Ditto. I stocked up through the next millenium on Feather's, but was very disappointed in the condition my Taylor's Creams arrived in from CBC. It's a shame, because I'd have ordered more Taylor's from them (I bought 3 tubs) had they taken more care in packing/wrapping
