Check out B&B member Rudy Vey. He's a brush maker that I have worked with, and I highly recommend both his work and the man himself. Great guy, great work!

Our vendor and hobbyist forums are full of custom brushmakers who'd be happy to work with you, plus great images of their work. Definitely worth checking out to get some ideas.

really anyone can make a custom handle...Drill a 1" hole in anything and drop a 24mm knot into it (golf ball, wrench socket, etc.) haha!

Glenn Ey, Australia. Amazing work. I have two of his brushes from Red Mallee Burl. He is doing work mostly in resin now, by custom order. Shoot me a pm if you want his E-mail address. B

I have every knot from TGN in personally restored handles - wouldn't trade them for the world. Fabulous knots that compete with the Rooney's and Simpson's.

I've purchased a few brushes from Rod and have always been pleased with both the quality and service.

Rudy Vey & deruitem both make fine Brushes & both are B&B Members. I have a RV with a Horse knot (I supplied the knot) and just bought a Boar from deruitem which is a nice and dense 50/24, I'm getting ready to do an initial lather tonight.
