    Default Straight Blade newbie checking in

    Hi all,

    I found B&B today searching for shaving cream options.

    I have been shaving with a straight razor since 1983. At that time, I became interested in shaving this way when I saw a character using a straight blade to shave on episode of Simon and Simon. It wasn't hard to learn and the results have always been superior to any other shave.

    During the last year I have replaced my Friodur stainless steel razor of 25 years with a new Dovo razor, but I still have and use my original strop and brush.

    It is great to read the thoughts of others on this site. I am sure I will learn some things and hope to share what I can.
