What's new

Prosaro, doing it wrong?

Way to go on perseverance. If Proraso is coming out worse than Palmolive, you're probably not getting the mix right yes. That said, Proraso should be fairly easy to mix - it has a large sweet spot. Soak your badger, but shake then gentley squeeze out the excess water. Load, and add a few drops of water at a time working the lather in between for at least 20-30 sec. You'll get there. Proraso is fantastic and very cheap.

I have also had this problem and am quite new as well. I still find the soap works well, though. I am interested to try this technique and see if it works. The soap is quite hard in the bowl so I'm sure this will work. Much different than the eshave whips which are basically lather before you even begin. So many products, so little time. Mwahaha! I look forward to trying many more. I am a wet shave product junkie. I have a non-lather cream by Zhir which is very nice, but because you don't lather it up I am finding it difficult to go back to. Oh how times change.
