If it doesn't fit force it. If it breaks you needed a new one.
I incinerate mine.
Sure, they go straight into the recycling bin here.
They're just small pieces of metal, after all.
Just call me Chris.
I'm building my 1/20th scale replica of the Iron Throne with mine.

Yup, we have local recycle collections bi-weekly!
I know most of the blades I have tries are platinum coated, so I didn't know if there was a market for platinum coated stainless in the scrap business.

Unless you can personally melt them down, the best thing you can do IMO is safely put them in a sturdy container, seal it and put it your regular garbage so no one gets hurt by them.

Yes, you can recycle them.
If you make a nice steel-can blade bank, you can just tape it off when it gets full and throw it in the recycle bin.
Blade banks you buy are also just as easy to recycle.
I put mine in old glass spice bottles, which will get crushed at the recycling yard, where the steel can be picked up by magnet.

I place them in a sharps container and send them out for disposal.

I have an old empty Genesee Cream Ale can in my bathroom cabinet that I put old blades into. After two years it is a quater of the way full. When it is full , I wil put it into the recycling container.
