Brass handled brush ID help?

Any idea on the manufacturer and approximate date for this brush?

The knot is loose from the handle, but it's in good condition, so I think I'll glue it back in. Might it be better to use a silicone adhesive rather than epoxy to allow for expansion and contraction of the metal handle? The knot is not a very tight fit - you can rattle it around in the handle.

Now I'm thinking that this brush is not all that vintage. I see a couple of brass shaving stands with a Trac II handle on eBay and Etsy that include a remarkably similar brush.

This one on Etsy is "probably from the 1930s or 1940s."

I think the Trac 2 dates to the early 1970's

Yes, I think that's right, as far as I recall. The seller on eBay says that the "shaver does not have a blade attached to it," which tends to indicate to me that he doesn't know it's a Trac 2 set either.
