    Default Cella is winning

    Ive sampled atleast 1 shave from the following;

Tabac - good stuff but need to use again
Mitchells Wool Fat - great, but need to use again
Dr. Harris Arlington - was good, need to use again
Pre De Provence - probably second place, great stuff
Herbaria Bay Rum and Jojoba - great for natural, lather didnt go well, will use again
Marvy - did not like this at all

Cella is winning, all though its early in the race.

Because it is a soft soap, im concerned it will not last as long, anyone got a longevity report? lol

Actually only one kilo at the moment. But it will last a long, long time. Do not worry.

Based upon my soft soap experience, I would say that the red Cella tub would yield between 75 and 90 shaves, depending on how heavily you load.

Those are some of the best soaps available. Cella is an especially great product.

No, it's not me. My avatar pic is Adolfo Pirelli, the Italian Master Barber in the film "Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street".

What does Cella smell of if anything- I am not seeing anything about it on product descriptions- it looks like it could be an economical buy.

After reading this, I guess I'll have to put Cella on my 'to buy' list.
    Curse you.

Cella is great- I have not used any of the other soaps on your list except Tabac (which has become my standard go-to soap and I love it).
I see you are about as new to this forum as I am so the only suggestion/comment I can make is that Proraso is conspicuous by its absence on your list and you gotta try it- just used it this morning and it is mighty good stuff! I like it as much as Cella.

Have you read any threads on Cella? Almonds (sweet) & marzipan are common descriptions.

Although as always YMMV with these things but how are you rating them. How is Cella winning over others?

Funny, for the products you mention, I would rate them (not describe them) identially.

Weird, no "Cella is overrated, (insert product here) is waaaay superior"

For me it's hard to explain, I have soaps that sure performs better in certain aspects, but yet still with Cella it all comes together with scent, price, performance and "mojo", it's the everyday hero soap that just delivers day out and day in.
If I was forced to go with just one soap (heaven forbid), it would be Cella.

Cella is definatly one of my favorites if not my favorite. The only other one Ive tried on your list is MWF and its OK but my problem with MWF is that I think it dries out to fast.
