Default When soap is near the end...

Hello, my soap is coming to an end. What do you guys do when its that thin it breaks up into pieces like mine has done in the picture.

Do you throw it away or carry on using it?.

I dont want to throw it away, but as theyre all in pieces I cant really get a good enough lather.

    Cheers

If I have more of the same kind, I put some more down on top of it, or press the fragments down on top of the new puck. If it's the only soap I have of its kind, and I don't plan to get more, I mix it in with fragments of other soaps in my frankensoap mug.

It hasn't come up all that often, though. It takes a long time to go through soaps, and I've got a pretty big variety now.

mill it and press it into the bottom of the bowl. will make one solid form you might be able to get a better lather off of. Worth a try if you dont want to toss it!

Frankensoap sounds like a cool idea. Or press the pieces into your bath bar.

I use the pieces to rub on my wet beard and face-lather. That way I can enjoy every last bit of the soap....

I soak it a bit and press in on to the top of the next soap I am starting. I guess I am just a cheap sob.

When this happens I just throw it out. There's too little soap left to be able to work the brush against well enough to get a decent loading.

I just throw more soap on top of it. I had some Arko leftovers recently and a QCS Sandalwood sample, mixed them. Before that the Arko covered up some Omega remainders.

+1 for the frankensoap. Works great and is always fun to try and determine what is all in there.

I use shave soap sticks exclusively and that is exactly what I do. Just wet the soap that was left in the plastic holder and stick it to the top of the new stick. Works just as well with small pieces added to a new puck. Long live the cheap sob's!

+1. I often mold it all together - all of the soaps - and have an "interesting" shave stick.
