Default Interesting conversation...What would you do? Angel or MWHAHAHA?

So there I was talking to this nice lady of 80ish sharp as a whip yesterday while antiqueing. I casually ask if she has any safety razors. She said she did but had all of them at home. Well I bought a slim off her and we got to talking some more of her travels & what, this & that. These kind of conversations one can't rush, steer, or interupt. besides I was brought up to not interuprt your elders. Even at my age now she has a bit of seniority on me. But finally she did say she had a lot of cased razors and like the slim adjustable that I bought she had funny looking one with the adjustments on the bottom! Numbers 1-5. I was cool. She asked me for a business card & said she'll call me. Now call me out if I'm wrong. Is this not the mythical Fatbottom adjustable?
ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND as much as I would like to have this -DEEP BREATH- for what she's will to sell me for(I won't tell you) I'd have to tell her what she has. Looking forward to meeting her again. I just hope I get to her first before some scammer does. Just to hold it would be amazing.......

Sure sounds like the mythical bottom dial Fatboy, but seeing is believing. I think you could tell her what it is and still get a decent price on the piece.

I'll let the chips fall where they may. When does one hand become a deal another a steal? I'll believe it when I see it for sure. Till then the anticipation is a lot.
Finnmcool: Thanks. I appreciate the response. Fact is nothing in this life is worth taking some lady over a few bucks. My dad was on social security and a proud man. "Lived" on it is stretch. She I imagine isn't so far removed. So in all fairness I will tell her and ask her best offer. Who knows? As kingfisher mentioned maybe she's a multimillionaire and will sell to me for a song! Ah, the anticipation! ..ok I need all of you to channel your energy to this old antique lady to call me.....:)-

See if she has any straights too! You may not be into them now, but who knows what tomorrow brings?

It's refreshing to hear you're honest with her. I think you'll enjoy it far more paying what it's worth to her. I'm sure she would be thankful also. Character can't be bought, but can be sold. You've obviously got character that's not for sale. Good call mate.

    Too true, well said sir.

I think I'd be giving her a call though saying you will be back in the area and would love to see them. You wouldn't want her to find them and take them to the store and somebody else come in.....

Of course, pics here or none of this happened!
