    Default Erasmic supreme boar brush?

    How do they perform?

I've got the little fella they sell at Savers for £3. I like it, I usually bowl lather with it as it's easier for me to know I'm going to have enough lather that way. Fairly soft, not super dense but a great scrubby face feel. I think it's an out and out bargain for less than a fiver.

This was my first brush. I have no claims to be an expert on brushes, but I'd rate its performance as mediocre/functional at best. It was ok for face lathering with a stick, although I generally had to reapply soap for subsequent passes. Bowl lathering was very hit and miss. It does seem to need suprisingly little breaking in for a boar brush.
Mine lasted about 4/5 months before part of the knot fell out; this may have been down to it not drying properly in a somewhat damp bathroom, but I have seen other reports of these brushes falling to bits.
By then I'd got the Wilkinson Sword boar, which has been my go to brush ever since, and I never really thought of replacing the Erasmic one.
The WS offering is hardly top of the line by any standards, but to my mind it is conspicuously better than the Erasmic brush, and still less than £5.
