    Default Hierarchy of heljestrands?

As you may have noticed, I have taken to heljes. After I put together that table of sizes, now I'm imterested to know whichare the most coveted or rare?

So far, I see a lot of 24s 31s and 32s. 24s seem not to command much in terms of price (relative to other heljes, still alot relative to other razors), and 31s and 32s are about even, then 33s and 134s seem to be slightly more unusual, and command slightly higher prices

This is just what I've noticed. Am I about right so far? As a collector, which are the most coveted models?

Are you trying to corner the rare and desireable straight razor market? The only problem I see with your endeavors to catalog everything, which is commendable, is that you will have encouraged everyone else to start looking for whatever razors you have deemed to be rare and desireable :) Kind of a catch 22, if you catch my drift.

Heh, you make a good point. Nonetheless, how can I know if I dont ask? And where better to ask than here?
I am indeed trying to collect all the rare and desireable, but to do so, I must first identify them.

6,13,32,33,34,42,44,133,134 and all the Ivory scaled heljes are pretty much collectable. Here is my family starting in the back row 134,42,13 front row a pair of 32's. I have never seen the 13 or 134 in Ivory other than mine which I did myself.

How are the 134 and the 13 different? It looks like 134 is a 7/8 with a thinner tang and the 13 is a 6/8 with a thicker tang. Is that about right?

I like the wide blades, the 134 looks right up my alley

The 13 is a 6.2mm blank ground 1/2 hollow and the 134 is 7mm blank ground full hollow Both are just over 150mm in length of the blank. The 13 is very comfortable where as you feel the weight of the 134. They both shave at the top of the class with the 13 being much more nimble.

I'm sorry for this, but I just had to file a report to the INS, seems like you are housing a few illegal immigrants.
Expect someone to come & pic them up shortly

I promise to make sure that they'll get a good home in their natural habitat

Be careful with this one, he keeps a lot of sharp objects around, and you can be sure he knows how to use them
