Thumbs up My new shaving mug

I grew tired on my little Old Spice shaving mug, so I ordered a proper shaving mug from "The Mud Place" and I love it. The size is great, not big, not small and fits my hand just right.

This was handmade by Leslie Nieto and looks amazing. I like to buy handmade work and support the artists that take the time to create such items. If not for them I would have a mass-produced bowl without a soul. LOL

I would post a link, but I don't want to come off as a salesman.
Edit: I should note that the razor in the last photo is massive and makes the mug look small. It's an 8/8 Wade & Butcher.

Very cool looking mug. Pottery always seems to look just so very classy in the den; enjoy!

I was debating the exact mug, but waiting to see what B&B comes up with.

I was debating which mug to get that one, or the Dirty Bird Bill Bowl. I ended up going with the Dirty Bird Bill Bowl. How long did it take you to get yours? Im thinking I shouldve gotten the one you did because its been a month and I'm still waiting for mine to get here :(

When I ordered it said 3 to 4 weeks, I got it in maybe a week. I was suprised when it came. I'm sure The Mud Place has a few already made waiting for a buyer. Your mug probably needed to be made after you ordered it. I also looked at the Dirty Bird and Schwarzweisskeramik mugs, but ended up with this one. The Schwarzweisskeramik was my second choice, awesome looking mugs.

Ah maybe I shouldve gone with the mug from The Mud Place since I'm so impatient. Any pics of it full of lather yet?

Well done. Any shaving related item that reminds me of a grenade gets two thumbs up.

I made some of my favorite super-lather just for this. Proraso Aloe & Green Tea with KMF Key Lime. This is a ton of lather, I need a good bit to shave my head and face, but this is overkill. The first pic is to show the size of the mug... The second shows that I need a larger brush. LOL
It lathers much faster than my Old Spice mug. It's a lot more fluffy than usual too--must be those ridges whipping in the air.

Had to clean my hand and brush handle off after the test run. I didn't expect so much lather.
