    Default MLB World Series 2011

Game six was one of the best baseball games I've ever seen! Anyone else following the world series?

The three best world series games I ever saw were all game 6- '75, '86, and '11.

Last night was amazing. It can be argued that it was poorly played, but it certainly was exciting.

The best one for me was 88, Dodgers against the A's. I'll never forget Kirk Gibson's home run against Dennis Eckersley.

Greatest game since the 2004 ALCS Game 4.

That has to be on anyone's short list.

By the way- it's the 8th inning, but I'm calling a Cards victory.

Yeah... seems its going that way. At least its a home team winning a championship at home. It's awkward watching a team celebrate when nobody is cheering and everyone is rushing out to their cars.

game 6 was indeed a great game. I was glad to see David Freese getting MVP....he certainly deserved it. the Cardinals wouldn't have even made it to game 7 if it weren't for him

He certainly did deserve it. And it's great to see the hometown kid get it too. But I thought Lance Berkman and Chris Carpenter were both deserving as well. We got great contributions from everyone: the young guys like freese and craig, the old vets like carp and berk, and our core guys like yadi and pujols.

And let me say to rangers fans that I thought your team played an excellent series and were very deserving of the win. I hope your team continues to find success and I sure wouldn't mind a rematch in 2012.

The Rangers are starting to smell like the 90s era Bills.

I think most of the Rangers, if not all, will be back next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they win it all next year.

I have to chime in with the others who think game 6 was an all time classic!

I was actually rooting for the Rangers, but as far as the series, all in all I wouldn't change a thing!
