    Default Arm Warmers?

I'm looking for some good arm warmers, like some cyclists use in cold weather. I work in a woodshop that gets pretty cold, especially in the mornings. I was looking at the thermal arm warmers by Pearl Izumi, but thought I'd also check here for recommendations. Warmth is my only object; I'm not concerned with moisture-wicking or breathability, since I'll just take them off once I'm warm enough to sweat :)
    Thanks!

Pearl Izumi is a reputable company with a good line; I haven't used their arm warmers specifically, but I'm very happy with the gloves and windbreaker that I have from them.

Pearl Izumi makes great stuff, but they're aimed at the high-spending athlete - cheap they are NOT.!
Why not buy a thermal undershirt and cut the sleeves off it?

PI are good. I have a pair. But for your purposes Ivan, just get whatever is cheapest. look at http://www.realcyclist.com/arm-warmers, Nashbar.com, REI.com, performancebike.com, sierratraingpost.com, excelsports.com.

Chris, the problem with cutting sleeves off a thermal shirt are 1)probably won't be tight enough to stay on, 2) arm warmers have gripper elastic around the cuff to also help from sliding off.

I'm thinking of a thermal base layer top like these sexy yet creepy people are wearing.

I wear Ibex merino (not itchy at all) wool short and long sleeve t shirts when it's cold. They really work great and aren't itchy.

These are still missing #2. Plus I bet these cost more than a pair of arm warmers would cost.

    He's creepy, she's kinda sexy.

I was considering those Ibex merino wool ones. Oh man, they are expensive, huh?
I actually just got a pair of the PIs on Zappos but think I'll send them back and try something else.

Wal mart carries a line of under armor type base layer stuff. It's cheap, but it works for me. 40+ miles this morning through some nice steep hills, stayed more than warm enough. I'm sure you could engineer something

Ibex is great and expensive. I can't comment on the arm warmers specifically, but I love their stuff.
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

Well, I went for the Ibex, and they arrived today. Haven't tried them out yet, but I tried them on and they feel and fit great. Thanks, guys!
