    Default What did I buy?

Does anybody know what is this Paragon shiny razor that I just received today as a result of my reckless RAD?

The Google gave me almost nothing about a British Company manufacturing surgical instruments. What to expect from it if (I hope) someone has used such a razor? Here is what I've got:

It's a Brit paragon brass razor, they are nice, I have a couple of them, the shave is mild but the quality is not too shabby.

Thanks. Do you know how old are they? At first glance it looks like an Old Type style but I don't have one to compare.

Don't know the year but i have had mine maybe 26?-/+ years if my memory serves, I'm not a collector though, so to be honest I never have researched anything I own, I see a razor I buy it, I try it out always searching for the ultimate one I guess.

Thanks. The aluminum British Tech ('60s or '70s) looks superb as well. I didn't expect to like the aluminum handle but it feel cute. It can be a nice travel razor.

I've been waiting for my Merkur 1904 OC (#41) to arrive but I guess this Paragon will be my first OC experience.

Paragon Razor Co. British manufacturer based in Sheffield, they were in the 1940's, and they made Surgical Scalpels and straight razors. they may still be around as Lance-Paragon.
