Default Gillette Aristocrat Side-plates -- How to Fasten?

I have a Gillette Aristocrat (a wonderful shaver). One of the plated side cover plates has come off, exposing the (unplated) mechanism under it. The razor still works OK.

How can I re-attach the plated cover?

    Thanks --

If you are talking about the end caps, I believe they were just soldered on.

Solder or epoxy are the most common methods used; of the two, epoxy would be easier to use and may last longer IMHO.
