Had a luxurious shave today and I never lifted a finger

As the title says.

I was talking with my Girlfriend today about shaving, well she bought it up actually, anyways to cut a long story short, I said or asked will you shave me? just for fun, she agreed to, so I gave her my R41 loaded a feather into it, she lathered me up and went to work, I got one nick and a BBS shave, I was amazed at how skillful she did it with the Muhle, OK it took 40+ minutes apposed to my normal 3-5 minutes total, but i never expected her to shave at my pace.

So all in all a dang fine luxurious shave , life is good.

Nice. Of course if you are shaving in 3 to 5 minutes when you are doing it yourself you are cheating yourself.

Gee Whiz, the fastest I've ever been able to do a 2-pass shave is 10 minutes (barbasol in a can) or 15 minutes (brush and bowl). It takes me 5 minutes to make a decent bowl of lather!

I had a dream that my wife asked me if she could shave me... I had and have no interest in this endeavour. But, before I could react, she went to my dresser to get my straigts, which haven't been used for months because they need honing. I was already lathered up and reclining. She sliced me from cheek to jawbone in a scythe like motion, at which point I woke up. I told her about it a little later on during breakfast and she said, "That sounds like something I'd do."

I just can't over the idea of letting a girl near you with an R41. MAYBE an old Norelco if it wasn't plugged in....

I made a mess of my face the other morning because my GF was just IN the bathroom talking. Her holding the razor? Pasadena.

All I can think about is the scene in Casino with the signature card and the Bank manager... "Do you trust your wife, etc" hahahaa

Well it's my razor of choice , and I do trust her completely, but i figured if she cuts me up then it's only a scar, won't be my first one or my last.

This was not laziness, this was pure LUXURY, she enjoyed it, I regulary wash her hair and do her feet, I enjoyed being shaved for once, fact is I almost fell asleep to be truthful, only other time i have spent that long in any bathroom is when I am constipated.

Well, that right there is true love ain't it? I was going to suggest you shave her legs but chances are you've already at least attempted it. I gotta go take a cold shower now..................

I don't think I've ever had a complete 3 pass, bowl lathering shave down in under 20 minutes yet. A face lather one-and-done, about 5 minutes maybe.

I've tried many a time to get my wife to shave me, but she absolutely won't go near any of my razors. She's too afraid that she'll cut or nick me and I'll bleed out from it. No amount of talking or explaining the technique has worked. The closest I ever came to getting her to pick up a straight razor was when I gave my dad the 'barber shop shave' treatment one day. After I explained that you basically take a light touch and short strokes with the razor, just enough pressure to remove the shave lather (think of it as a lather scoop), she took the razor and almost finished shaving my dad, but backed out from it at the last second. Ah well.
