Thanks, man. It was my Dad's, he was a navigator on a B-17 and B-29 and it was issued to him as a lieutenant in the Army Air Corps.

Showing the pens capped doesn't do much for me. My Edison Hudson is about 1/2 inch bigger than the B&B Glenmont capped, but when the cap is off, it is the same exact pen.

comparing a WW1 and WWII 1911 the butt looked a little straighter. serial # on this one is in the higher 100,000's so 1917 production

I have no 21K nibs -- are they any softer than an 18K? Almost pure gold there. Is your music nib similar to a stub nib?
They sure are...great flex with 21K... the music is like a double broad stub
Japanese nibs are known for their fine points but my Sailor music nibs are like the finest vintage German broads out there, no pun intended.
The Midsize has a .9 Cursive grind done by Nagahara.
