Default 5th DE shave, not so bad so far.

So I have shaved a total of 5 times with my DE, and I have had some mixed results. I had 2 pretty decent shaves with my CVS blades. But they seemed to get worse when I switched too the derby's which I have used the same blade 3 times and it does not seem dull. But that said I'm going back to the CVS blades until I become more proficient at using at my DE and making a quality Lather. Seems like 2 variables would be better then 3, but who knows I might change my mind and switch to another blade anyway.

    Happy Shaving Gents!

Glad to hear it's starting to work. You may want to try a sampler pack of blades.

+1 ... If you do have or get a sample pack, it's wise to use each brand/type of blade for three shaves, then move on. Usually the best blade or blades for your current style of prep, lather, and shaving can be found rather quickly. Then stick with that blade for a month or longer.

Keep on trucking. It only gets better with a few valleys in between.
Do I dare add another "Get a sampler Pack"?

Well I have the WCS everything sampler which I got when it was on sale 2 weeks ago I believe, so I am switching to a sharp or shark brand next. I do feel as if Im getting the hang of making a decent lather and am starting to pick up the razor handling to get a better shave. Thanks for the advice though much appreciated
