Default Are all Edwin Jagger heads the same

I have to say that lately, I am just supper happy with my Edwin Jagger DE89L. In fact I just shaved, paid close attention to the angle and I am just really, really thrilled with the irritation, super close shave. I even easily buffed and J hooked and it really has to be one of the best shaves ever. So I just pulled up the Edwin Jagger line and am looking at all of their razors but am curious if they all have this same exact head so the same shave can be expected?

I don't think so. The 86, 87, and 89/89L all have similar handles (and the same price point), I wouldn't think they would use the same head on all three.
The Chatsworth, according to the review, does use the 89 head, so if you're looking for something more "elegant" than a simple straight handle, it looks like you'd be safe adding the Chatsworth to your collection.
Also, from the part number, it looks like the 89811 and 89BA11 (Barley chrome) series give additional handle options.

All Edwin Jagger razors use the same head (which is supplied by Muhle, and is the same one Muhle uses on their R89), the only difference lies with the handles.

Yes, all the Edwin Jagger razors use the same closed comb head. Here's a thread about it.

All of these are based on the MÜHLE R89 head, which they all share. I think there are more:

The 89 and Chatsworth (DR Harris) are the same head (photos): http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthr....-Harris-Razor
As far as the 86 & 87, I believe they are also the same using the same Muhle head in the most recent designs.
