Will putting a used Gillette toggle gold plated in barbasol hurt the plating ? I did not think so but want to be safe thank you !

Barbisol? No. Barbicide? I am not sure. I know that it hasn't hurt my gold plated Schick Injectors, but you may want to call the toll free number and ask.

Ok maybe I misunderstood my Barber but Im pretty sure thats what he is giving me if wrong I stand corrected !!thanks for your replies !
I would'nt for a long period of time but a 5min dip should be ok on the plating. Not 100% sure though
Barbasol is an aerosol shaving cream. Barb-I-Cide is the blue cleaning fluid.
Soaked a gold plated Slim in Barbicide for 10 min last night, no problems.
