Man those Italians sure know shaving!

I got a tub of Cella delivered on Friday (it was waiting for me in the post when I got home - I love it when the Internet brings me presents!) and I decided to give it a crack before going out on Friday night... Man oh man this stuff was good!

I put on some Proraso pre/post and went to work on lathering. I loaded up the brush and put a drop of water in the shaving mug and BOOM! It exploded into a fluffy, frothy mass of lathery deliciousness. Just an amazingly rich and creamy and dense protective lather. Yes there was that whiff of almondy/marzipan but I found that disappeared after a rinse entirely.

So I realised that I had shaved with two Italian products with not a word of English on either tub - the Proraso and the Cella. These two imported Italian products have just improved the shaving experience out of sight as well as making it so much more pleasurable and effortless. I actually look forward to a shave now.

So hats off Italy - nice job on the shave products!

I'm seriously considering going to Proraso year-round.
It's not just for summer, anymore!

I use the green tub of Proraso menthol-eucalyptus soap and Proraso cream aftershave. I am sure there are other great products out there, but for now, I will stay with what I enjoy and at a great price too:-). If you haven't tried these two Italian products, I highly recommend them.
