    Default Fan vs Bulb ???

I was wondering if someone could explain to me the differences in a fan shape vs a bulb; besides the obvious of course.

If it helps, I head shave and have a mixed hair Grosvenor and use mostly soaps at this time. I make enough lather every day to 3 pass the face, 3 pass the dome, and some for touchup on the dome.

Thank you Jim, I searched the wiki, but I forgot to search the forum. So, what is your preference?
