Help a college kid out with a watch purchase?

I've been looking for a simple gold watch & brown croc strap, but I haven't been able to find one that isn't $9,999 or isn't *bling* orientated.

Thanks to GQ, they've given me a few inexpensive options, and I'd like some help on deciding which one:

1. Nice watch, but I think the rose gold and the smaller profile makes it look slightly feminine. Just saying. It's nice though.
2. There's a very good chance I'll get this one.
3. This really isn't what I'm looking for, but it's close enough and Tissot has brand recognition. Can't say I like white dials, though.
4. I feel like this is a very masculine choice, I see this watch being on the arm of a burly man. I've never had a square watch so I don't know. This one looks even more classic than choice #2.

I wear a Bulova among others and I like it very much.
It's a solid watch and most importantly it keeps time properly.

I vote for #2. #4 is nice, but harder to read.

With that said, check out the case size of each watch (the size is in mm). A small size difference actually can be quite noticeable. Try on the various contenders, if possible so you know if it fits your wrist well, the legibility, etc.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I feel like watch number 2 is good looking as well. Number 4 is also a good choice, but corey is right. It's harder to read.

As is, I like #2 the best.

But, #3 would be my favorite if it had a black leather band.

Make sure you physically try them on first, because sometimes what looks good in pictures or on someone else, doesn't always look good on your own wrist.
