Virtually impossible to "counterfeit" a vintage Gillette . . . mis-identification is another issue, however!
Sellers don't always know what they have, or wish they have something more "marketable" . . . of course, there may be one or two dishonest ones as well. Read carefully, look at the pictures, learn about vintage razors, and check a seller's feedback.
