Hello, due to a bad move, I've made a little dent on my straight razor blade: now the steel is curled on one side of the razor and I can hear it very clearly when I'm stropping the razor. I'd like to restore the razor. Should I restore that little piece of steel with a hammer and a flat hard surface (I'm a little scared to damage the razor more and more even being careful) prior to hone the blade? Or should I accept a little hole in the blade and just hone it?
Thanks.
