Default Mama Bear Order Has Arrived!

When I saw Mama Bear had her autumn scents ready for the season, I ordered them all (Fall is my favorite season). I have 4 new soaps and only 3 days to try them out before my big Monday. What a dilemma

Today I used Autumn Afternoon. Unbelievable scent! Captures the season perfectly. And what can I say about the soaps performance that hasn't been said already? It was a great shave. I still have Autumn Lodge, Fall Leaves, and Oak Leaves and Acorn to go.

All four are great scents, so if you're an autumn lover or are looking for a seasonal soap, I would recommend buying any one of the four (at under $10 a piece for a 4 ounce puck, you can't go wrong).

I gave the Oak Leaves and Acorn away as it was the only scent I did not care about.
And now autumn is approaching, I kind of miss it

I think that's how I'm going to feel about it too. I'll use it for a month or so and then store it for a year. I like it... for now. I don't see myself using it when it's 85 degrees and humid though.

Sounds great, I love MB soaps. Let us know how the scents of the other 3 are.

Today's soap was Autumn Lodge. I thought it would be very woodsy based on the description, and there was a lot of woody scents. But it was also tempered with citrus and spices. Think outdoor camping lodge in late October, sitting around a fire with hot cider. I didn't think it was that complex from the soap, but once it was lathered it was incredible. This one is a must have if you like autumn scents.

Also, the lather on this one was the best so far. I had plenty for a four-pass shave with more to spare. Nice slick lather, as good as any soap double the price. Excellent soap, MB. This may become my favorite.

I may have to order some, because we don't have fall here- we have summer, followed by a short cooling off period. I do miss Ohio.

That seals it- I haven't had hot cider in 20 years.

I ordered in a puck of Cedarwood/lemon and added in some more samples.

Tried the Autumn Lodge yesterday - oh my, I will definitely be buying that one. It is such a great scent. Apple cider in a musky forest sort of sums it up for me. If it had some smoky hints to it I would feel like I was camping.

Love the slickness and lather building ability of her soaps.

Tried Fall Leaves today. Light, crisp, clean, citrus scent. It was almost too obscure a scent for me. This feels almost like a spring soap instead of a fall one. Still a great soap and I do like the scent (even though I wish it were more profound). I would recommend the other two first. Autumn Lodge is a must have, and Autumn Afternoon is not too far behind. I think this one I'm gonna have to be in a mood to use, but it still would recommend if you are looking for a crisp, clean scent.

I'm not a huge fan of Autumn Afternoon (too floral), but Spellbound Woods is my go-to Fall soap.

Fall is my favorite season as well. I was just up in Syracuse last week -- the leaves are already starting to change color! You guys are about a month ahead of us down here in the city.

...and speaking of Syracuse, do you ever get to the Empire Brewery? Great craft beers!

    Enjoy your Mama Bear fall!

I really miss the fall in Ohio- too bad my wife can not tolerate the cold, or I would move back.

Yes. I have to have 4 seasons. Fall is my favorite with winter right behind. I prefer to live in the midwest because of this. The leaves should be golden, orange and red here pretty soon.
