Seems like there's been a lot of chatter in different threads about Lou Schuler's NROL program, I figured it would be good to consolidate the discussion here.
I just finished the Break In period, and I was surprised how tough 4 different exercises can be when you superset them and perform in the 3x15 rep range. I hadn't done anything over 8 reps in about 10 years!!!
Three workouts into Hypertrophy I now, and I think I might die. That lower body split nearly made me hurl right around the last set or two. It is fun, though, to heave big weights around in moves you never see done (or done right!) in the gym - deadlifts, step ups, split squats - especially when everyone else is staring at themselves doing endless rounds of bicep curls!
