Default Bay Rum cologne to replace CO Bigelow

The CO Bigelow Bay Rum Cologne is history. I'm a fan, but not to the point of paying Ebay Piracy prices. What's in production that is similar?

I like Pinaud Bay Rum as a splash, but need a cologne, too.

Never tried CO Bigelow so I can't suggest anything similar, but this one has my attention for my next Bay Rum scent. Currently I only have Pinaud Bay Rum.

I've tried the Ogallala bay rum sampler, as well as the bay rum sampler from Barclay Crocker. After all that testing, I chose the St. John's Bay Rum as the best-smelling option. It doesn't give up that bay rum swagger, but it is waaaay smoother and seemingly made from purer ingredients than the Pinaud, which I also own.

I just tried SCS Bay Rum with a Twist and I like it a lot. It comes as an EdT too.

This summer, I picked up a bottle of Dunhill Edition. It might be just me, but I think it smells a lot like Bigelow Bay Rum. Might be worth a try. It's been either out of production or unavailable in the US, but it's supposed to be on the way back.

It is just sad the Bigelow dropped several of their great scents that Bed and Body Works used to carry. My wife Loved the Green Elixer.

Thanks, Nid. I've never followed a suggestion of yours that didn't turn out extremely well.

Yes, I quite like it, even if it's a little on the "Christmas Cookie" side of the Bay Rum scale. My wife really likes it, and will be sad when it goes away.

Love the Dominica Bay Rum. Best I've ever smelled and/or used.

Try the sampler. Some Bay Rum is disgusting. I HATE HATE HATE Clubmans take, but many people love it. I still have 3/4 of a bottle of Bigelow. It is great stuff.

Interesting thought. I can't say that I agree, although both are AMAZING. I use DE when I go to court, and BBR every Sunday. To me they are two different smells, but both are 10s.

I'm glad The Nid Hog loves it . I do, and have for 20 years.

+1 and I'd also suggest Meehan's Bay Rum Cologne.
