Shavemac D01 - biggest bloom it ever had

The curiosity bug bit me and I picked up some palmolive classic cream in the tube. To my surprise this cream is pretty decent. What really surprises me though is what it did to my brush. I woke up this morning to get ready for work and when I went in to the bathroom, out of the corner of my eye I see this huge brush. I was still half asleep and thought I was seeing things. As this brush dried out overnight, it produced the biggest bloom I have ever seen it have and the tips were also abnormally soft. I have been using this brush for over a year and never seen this. This pic is exactly what it looked like right off the stand. I dont know what they put in this palmolive cream but, my brush seems to like it.

Thats a beautiful brush. I'm actually agonizing between that one and the 177. What size knot is that?
