Got a sample of this stuff and love it! More importantly, so does the wife. Thinking of making it a part of my rotation but I need to match it to a cologne. Any Ideas?
Thanks Gents!

Earcutter, I imagine the scent to be quite green(as it is Aloe Vera). I would go for something lighter and green. Perhaps a lighter Vetiver cologne like Comme de Garcons - Vettiveru or perhaps Mugler Cologne. Both can be had rather inexpensively.
Cordially, The Duke
Dolce & Gabanna The One for Men, Hugo Boss #6, and Gucci Envy all have a green vibe to my nose.
I have a sample of the aftershave balm. It's not a green scent, I think it smells pretty much like they scented it with a copy of davidoff cool water. so you might want to pick up some of that.
Wow – went to the mall and got overwhelmed by all the scents! No amount of coffee bean sniffing overcame it (they tell you to sniff the coffee beans between to “cleanse the pallet”). In the end I couldn’t decide due to the headache I got sniffing this that and what have you!
I note they no longer give samples to take home either arg! That seemingly would be the way for me to go considering. Finding a scent is going to be arduous!
I've heard it said that you shouldn't try to smell more than 4 or 5 perfumes at one time. Your nose will stop smelling certain scents and you'll get the perfumes all mixed up...but that all depends on your experience at smalling perfumes. Coffee doesn't cleanse your nose, no smell will do that. Coffee is more of a smell that is not a perfume so it breaks up the monotony of smelling the same kind of smell over and over. THough i guess if you were sampling gourmands it wouldn't help much. There was a study showing it didn't do anything here
Most places don't give samples anymore. Sephora will do it as it's store policy, I've gotten 4 or 5 samples made for me there. I think also nordstroms does it, but I may be wrong...but everyplace will let you spray a blotter to take.
It's easy to get overwhelmed smelling perfumes. I lose track pretty qiuckly. And even if I only smell one, I've learned the hard way, or at least the expensive way, that a quick sniff in the store is not always enough to know if you are going to like the way a scent smells on you throughout the day. And my nose isn't good enough to translate what a scent that is sprayed on a paper strip will smell like on my skin. IMO, it's worth getting even a small sample that you can apply to your skin and see what it smells like for at least an hour, if not longer to see how long it wears and if it changes more over a longer time.
