Dovo Pearlex

Just got this Dovo Pearlex in today. It came from the BST forum. It's quite a handsome razor if I say so myself. The pics are the courtesy of the seller, thanks Mike.

It still needs to honed but it came pretty sharp and shouldn't take to much to get a nice edge

Just honed it up, coti bevel set and prefinish and finished on a Jnat. It responded to the hones quite nice.

Glad you got a nice edge to start with from Dovo - I have had mixed results.

The Pearlex is my favorite looking blade out of everything I have seen. I just really really wish they made one in stainless with the same design.

Congratulations! If you keep this up, your Brian Browns are going to get lonely when you have to go to a longer rotation. However, in your defense, I did notice you are divesting yourself of one of your Waterville Cutlery razors.

I have two Dovo "en vogue" 105 Black Micartas and one Dovo Prima Klang; all fine razors. In my experience, the Dovos hold their own pretty darn well against the competition.
