Default " you and I are merely passing through history. But this - this IS history."

A few days ago I got my latest random aquisition of razor junk for me to restore. There were some Gillette Blue Blade boxes unopened. I actually opened up a few and looked at them, they were in dispensers. The blades didn't appear to have any rust on them but silly me I actually tried shaving with them. Ouch. What a dull blade, it was like shaving with a week old Derby. Oh well, I guess I should have just warehoused them away unopened in a box.

Damn, the Rocket HD I picked up has a dispenser of Blue Blades. I was gonna try one out for an oldschool shave. Guess I'll skip it. Figured they'd be oxidized anyway, since the pack isn't sealed, just unused.

The antique packages of blades look great, but shaving with a blade thats older than you usually isn't the wisest decision. Put them and use them as a showpiece.
