    Default Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree

Does anyone else detect motor oil with a finishing note of dirt (re: soil)?

More like kerosene if you ask me. Surprisingly it kinda grew on me and now I like it!

I've never tried that soap but tea tree has a sharp, "chemical" smell that does sort of smell like a petroleum product.

What a strange phenomenon...so pungent and foul to the point of it being endearing.

    Durian, anyone?

Hmm, I've not tried Dr. Bronner's, but the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo doesn't smell that bad or like petroleum, but it is a distinct aroma.

Only smelled tree tea in the store but really got hooked on the Peppermint and the Almond. Like to mix them for extra kick.

Peppermint mixed with Lavender is also nice.

The past few days I've been washing my face exclusively with a 50:50 mix of Dr. B's lavendar and water. I agree, the results have been an overly dry face.

I'll give the other ones a shot (tea tree, eucalyptis, and peppermint) as I'm suspecting the lavendar to be the culprit, but if not, it's back to Cetaphil for me. As a bodywash though, I'm loving the Doc Bronners!

I truly think Cetaphil is an awesome face wash. I do like Dr. Bronner's Peppermint for just about everything else!

I guess I'm weird, but I have the drying problem on my body and not my face. I can use just about any soap on my face and be just fine (currently Savon de Marseille, which I like a lot), but the only thing that doesn't dry my body out is the cheapo drugstore bodywashes. Currently, I'm really enjoying the Irish Spring BW. I use either that or the regular Old Spice bodywash (not the high endurance stuff, which smells like funk).
