User friendly maybe, but there is nothing in that blade that look friendly.
Great job on the scaling.

A Thiers Issard with a not very hollow blade (1/2 to 1/4 hollow) and a wrought spine.

Thanks. When I saw it on the bay last fall, I couldn't resist. Fortunately it seems everyone else could and I got it for a nice price which was then halved when the razor arrived with a tiny crack in the edge which fortunately turned back to the edge and became a chip rather than going deeper into the blade. Lost about 1/16th of blade width but came away with a great shaver. The tang is nice and thick, easy to hold. Need to clean and polish the scales a little and it will be done.

Trying to cull the collection down to 1/3 of it's current size so everyone is getting one last try out...
