There are so many fantastic razors on display today. The lines of this blade though are quite extraordinary.

Heljestrand No.16. Another razor that had been waiting untouched for decades for me to be born, grow up and to middle aged discover straight razors. I've never seen etching like this on a Heljestrand razor. Knowing the limited durability of Swedish razor etchings I usually go for my other No.16. The No.16 is a rare and good Heljestrand model. I recommend it to anyone who likes the Swedish shoulderless models.

Tabactober shave this morning, Jos. Alsberg & Sons, St. Louis. It I love finding so many local blades in the wild. There are so many that came out of St. Louis, MO.
