This vintage Tamahagane steel is out of this world!
It feels more like ceramic and, even with my fumbling and buffoonish efforts at honing, the blade has taken an incredible edge which is almost "too sharp"
Ha ha - I keep thinking of those Hattori Hanzo swords in Kill Bill...

Mean-lookin' piece o' steel there, Marcus. In a good sense, of course. :thumbup:
 
Something little different today, had a unopened can of Old Spice Cream in a can so I figured i would give it a whirl, it's really a shave they quit making this, no it's not the same as a great Artisan soap but for travel or a quick lather it's perfect.
