Erik Anton Berg is going to wake me up today. Thought I'd try the wool fat shaving soap from Mitchell's too.
It's no longer a mystery to me why the prices on Swedish steel has gone up. The good thing is that it ends up in good hands.[emoji2]
It's big and heavy and very well made. I'll pick a smaller one today.

The quality is nothing I've come across before, so I can see why though. But it's comforting to know that these still can be found at flee markets. This one was 40kr ( ~$5)
I plan to shave with this in a bit, if I don't chicken out . . . .

Alum on the fingers helps a lot! And go real slow! Mine squirms like an eel but if I hold on it produces a great shave.

This is my back up razor that lives in the bathroom (for those times a freshly honed razor doesn't quite cut it). I personally really like it; easy to hone and it takes a great edge.
