And I thought I had my AD under control .... NOT!
Well, I am definitely not a razor collector, or a brush collector. I use the same razor and brush every day and have no desire to get more razors or brushes. I like what I have, why get more? I don't get it.
BUT, I guess I am a little more subject to acquisition disorder with regard to lathering products. I promised myself I was going to stop with the cream/soap buying until I ran out of a couple of my eight or nine current products. The road to hell, as they say ...
Was at the mall today to have a watch battery replaced after having lunch with my daughter. What's that across the way there? Oh, no, it's an Art of Shaving store! Dammit!
A Sandalwood Shaving Cream followed me home somehow.
I must have enough stuff to shave with for about three years at the moment.
At least.
What I found amusing was that both the sales clerk and the barber giving some guy a straight razor shave were both sporting what I jokingly call the "Yasser Arafat Look". You know, that 3-day growth the younger men tend to sport these days? I honestly don't get it, it looks like they can't decide if they want to shave or grow a beard, and it looks ridiculous to this 'middle aged' guy. Especially with a nice suit/tie like the clerk was wearing.
I would think if you worked in an Art of Shaving store in a big metropolitan mall you might, well, SHAVE!?
