The l'Oreal for Men one is not bad at all for a drugstore product
I use it out of the fridge for better results

The best eye product for men is Decleor for Men (not an eye roller)

I've used the L'Oreal eye roller. I'm not sure that it really does anything for me...

Witch hazel is one of your best bets. The other one is to put cucumber slices on your eyes in the evening.... it does work...

From what I've read and been told, much of dark circles is hereditary...it is simply the capilaries beneath the skin under eye....the "Dark" is blood and the vessels are very close to the skin....good nutrition, rest, and limiting massive caffeine hits helps some with puffiness/circles.....

Someone mentioned cream kept in fridge...the cold does help with puffiness...cold anything really, cucumber slices, cold water splash, ice...

i've found that getting a decent 8 hours of sleep works best for me. i am lucky to be self-employed, which makes it easier to accomplish. most of my friends are not and i have seen the toll this takes, especially around the eyes and waist-line!

You got it. Good diet and enough sleep.
All the external stuff has to help but one should get to the cause of it.

Unrefined shea butter has cleared mine up pretty good. Less dark, less puffy.

Cucumber slices over eyes are relaxing indeed, and sleep + good quantities of water work well too.

But as I hit late 30s in a busy job, a lot of cucumber type stuff is not very practical on a regular basis. It's the special weekend where I can get around to doing that. I played around with L'Oreal etc, and they did squat for me. I have tried Clinique, L'Oreal, Nivea, Garnier for Men, and even Gillette is now getting into the game.

I love this forum because a few months back I read this insight from a couple of threads and this has now become my staunch regime:

    1. Face wash: La Roche Posay Effaclar gel -- this is light and it has made my skin super soft. The reason I mention it is that it also softens up the dark bags under my eyes every morning. This is magic, and I cannot thank the person enough who recommended this.

    2. For Eyes specifically: I used the La Roche Posay eye gel for a while to keep the same brand in the regime, but my girl friend (who's a professional dermatologist) suggested that I try the Guinot brand. I had never heard of this brand, but she got me their Guinot Tres Homme anti-fatigue thingie, which blew me away. This has since become my regime.

When I share this with people, I naturally hear the usual barbs: that I'm a show off, that I am victim to the "French" branding, and so on. Frankly, having tried the simpler mass brands with all heart, I now value what these French folks have to offer. They are more expensive, but a small quantity does the job, so they last long. This is my face so I can spend some extra dough on it.

Hope this is of some help.
