Smile Smells of the old barber shops

What products smell like the old barber shops when a lot of us were kids growing up?
The soap, shaving around the ears and neck with warm lather, face tonic and even the hair tonic......I miss that! Would like to remember "yester-year" with a few products that can do just that.

Definitely Pinaud Clubman aftershave and talc. Also the shaving cream made in the barbershop.

I use Clubman Pinaud after shave and talc for that very reason. I picked up some bay rum after shave for the same reason. These products remind me of the barber shop where I got my first hair cut, more years ago than I care to mention. The barber was a very good man that went to the same church that I did. He passed away about 2 years ago and was still cutting hair until about two months before his death.
Thanks for giving me the venue to share that.
I love the smell of Bay Rum in the morning!

Pinaud Clubman talc, hot lather from the machine, the old leather barber's chairs, and sometimes french fries because there is a McDonald's not far from the barber shop I frequented for 30+ years until I moved away.

I see my two entries have already been voiced: Mama Bear's Ye Olde Barbershoppe & Pinaud Clubman.

OK OK...... A guy can only stand so much arm twisting. I just ordered Mama Bear's Ye Olde Barbershoppe. I already have the Pinaud Clubman. I withstood the arm twisting for.....oh....at least a microsecond

I can think of another aroma that brings me back, not because of the product itself, but because the memories are so clear: Groom and Clean Hair Dressing. Find a tube at your local drug/discount store, open it up and take a whiff.

    Clubman and Witch Hazel.
It is just soap, hot water and a sharp blade. It isn't rocket science or a Zen ritual.

I think ye old barbershop smell depends on where you grew up. Italian barbershops near my house had a different smell than Pinaud, they smelled piny and lemony.

+1 on Pinaud Clubman and Talc.

-Osage Rub, if you grew up in the US.
-Musk (Jovan, or the one from the dollar store)
    -Sea Breeze
-Old Spice (Oh Dear Lord, please have someone tell the barber to take it down a notch. We get the point)
